We posted on this a year or so ago, but a reminder that Boots deliver to BFPO addresses.

Feedback from people stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan is that items like wet wipes and chapsticks are still always appreciated out there.

Christmas Gift for BFPO - A Personalised Wash Bag

We like this as a gift to send a service person.  He can look at a picture of his kids while he has a morning shave; or look at the wife while he's in the shower!

   The canvas wash bag (which comes in black or cream) is personalised with a photograph of your choice. Your photograph is professionally printed onto one side of the bag in matching PVC covered canvas fabric.

The product is available here.  The website do not deliver to BFPO, but obviously its a pretty small and light item that you can send yourself (having ordered it to be delivered to yourself). 

Staying safe in the sun

Its not widely known that Boots do actually deliver to BFPO addresses.  Hidden away on their website is the following information:

"BFPO delivery charges:
BFPO orders carry a delivery charge of £6.50. This is the cost that Boots.com pays for delivery to BFPO addresses. This charge is made up of the carrier charge that we pay to Business Express to deliver the parcel to the Mill Hill headquarters. Boots.com is then also charged by the BFPO at Mill Hill, to forward on the parcel to its final address. This is why the delivery charge is different and that free delivery is not available.

BFPO parcels:
Would all BFPO customers please be aware that we cannot ship aerosols to addresses where the parcels are flown. If you order aerosols then the parcel will be intercepted at Mill Hill and the whole order will be returned to us.

Please also note that certain areas carry specific weight restrictions.

Please note, parcels over these weight limits are automatically returned to us by Mill Hill."
